Rico has a Bachelor in Architecture from Monterrey Tech, Mexico and is currently completing her MA in Sculpture & Ceramics at the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
Her independent spirit was fostered at an early age and continues to speak its own voice. She has studied the human figure for over ten years and has trained with master figurative sculptors including Beth Cavener Stichner and Christyl Boger. This experience has provided her with the tools to translate the human essence into new tangible forms.
